About me

I am Mara, a self-made businesswoman with a passion for coaching, psychology, and lifelong learning.
I am a highly sensitive person, and as such I already developed at a very young age the ability to understand the needs of people around me and how to fulfill them. Due to my curious nature, I always strive to understand how the world around me and the people in it work, and go down the rabbit hole, all the way, chasing answers if my curiosity peeks, and it peeks quite often.
To be able to understand the world around you, you need to learn a lot about it. That’s what I did and still do. I am very dedicated to learning.
I started my professional career by gaining hands-on experience in the industry, as an industrial clerk, in order to have a solid foundation to build on. I specialised in Human Resources, working always full-time as HR Associate, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, and lastly as HR Director. I worked in different international and national Companies ranging from agencies to the chemical industry, including clinical research, retail, sales as well as IT and telecommunication.  Advancing my career, expertise, and responsibilities with every step that I took. By now I  gained more than 20 years of professional experience. Apart from working full time I dedicated my free time to studying and obtained several academic and professional degrees. I hold a diploma (equivalent to a master’s) in economics, a professional degree as occupational health and safety consultant, as GDPR Data Protection officer, and of course, a professional degree as an industrial clerk. I have a very practical hands-on mentality, and I work hard to achieve my goals.
